Laundry Love Santa Ana: The Numbers

  • Sorry to take so long to get this out to you all.  Thank you so much to all of you who help make this thing a reality month after month.  The leadership team who plan, organize and set up everything.  The operations teams who help to run the individual events.  The volunteer teams who come out and support everyone, hang out with guests, talk, share stories and just provide the social and fun aspect to the night that really differentiates it from just about anything I have ever been a part of.  And of course, thank you to our partners who generously provide us with volunteers, quarters, various services and resources to provide to our guests and much support in connecting with the community.

Here is how Thursday evening at 406 East Santa Ana Blvd. shook out:

    • We had 55 sign-in’s totaling about 125 people
    • we did about 120 loads of laundry at a cost of $412
    • Estimate we had about 35 volunteers

We ran a bit late, but should have this under control within the next couple months, as we will be launching  a second time and a second location soon.  Details to follow as they are solidified.

Thanks again to those who helped make this happen.
