Quarter jar for LLSA 003

donated by brady kong with lots of love

My friend’s son is only 2 1/2 years old, but is already helping to impact the lives others for the good!

She brought me this jar today filled with quarters to donate to Laundry Love Santa Ana. When I saw the lable I was MOVED! It truly was BEAUTIFUL to me, because it symbolized the fearless freedom and raw authenticity that children so beautifully posses. I thought, “How awesome! What a powerful lesson she taught him through this experience:

1. Whatever you have to offer/give is enough and seize the opportunity to use it.

2. You’re never too young to impact the world around you for the good.

Children are amazing like that. They give of what they have, and do it with such joy and excitement! It doesn’t matter how small or simple it maybe, but you know that they poured part of who they are into it.

My friend wanted to give to Laundry Love Santa Ana and the people of Santa Ana, and invited her son to be apart of that experience. With just a small piece of paper, a few crayons and the love and energy that only a toddler can give – lives will be changed!

Thank you Brady for sharing your art and for being a reminder that even the simple things we have to offer can amount to lots of love!
